PhonetKor does not require sign-up or login. There is no user account system. Your learning state — saved sentences, daily evaluation count, subscription tier, language and playback settings, and your AI consent choice — is stored locally on your device and is not synced to any server. A random device identifier may be generated locally for app function and is not transmitted as personal data.

Before any audio or text is sent for AI processing, the app asks for your consent. You can review your consent status and grant or revoke it at any time in Settings > AI Data Privacy. If you revoke consent, the features that depend on cloud AI (translation, audio, scoring) will not be available.
오디오·텍스트가 AI 처리를 위해 전송되기 전에 앱이 동의를 요청합니다. 설정 > AI 데이터 처리 동의에서 동의 상태를 확인하고 언제든 허용·철회할 수 있습니다. 동의를 철회하면 클라우드 AI에 의존하는 기능(번역·음성·채점)은 사용할 수 없습니다.

The microphone is used only while you are actively recording a pronunciation attempt. Your recording is sent for scoring and a copy may be kept locally so you can replay it; recordings are not published or shared with third parties beyond the scoring provider described above.
마이크는 발음 녹음을 진행하는 동안에만 사용됩니다. 녹음은 채점을 위해 전송되며, 다시 듣기를 위해 사본이 기기에 보관될 수 있습니다. 녹음은 위에 설명한 채점 제공자 외에 제3자에게 공개·공유되지 않습니다.

The free tier shows ads to support infrastructure costs. Ads may use device-level advertising identifiers in line with the ad provider's policies and your device settings. On iOS, the app follows App Tracking Transparency. Premium removes ads entirely.
무료 등급은 인프라 비용 보전을 위해 광고를 표시합니다. 광고는 광고 제공자의 정책과 기기 설정에 따라 기기 광고 식별자를 사용할 수 있습니다. iOS에서는 앱 추적 투명성(ATT) 정책을 따릅니다. 프리미엄은 광고를 완전히 제거합니다.

Because data is stored locally and there is no account, you can remove all local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. Cloud AI providers process the transmitted audio/text only to return a result and do not retain it to identify you.
데이터가 로컬에 저장되고 계정이 없으므로, 앱 저장소를 지우거나 앱을 삭제하면 모든 로컬 데이터가 제거됩니다. 클라우드 AI 제공자는 전송된 오디오·텍스트를 결과 반환을 위해서만 처리하며 사용자를 식별하기 위해 보관하지 않습니다.
