본 약관은 Expanion(익스패니언, 이하 “서비스”)의 이용과 관련하여 서비스 제공자(이하 “회사”)와 이용자 간의 권리·의무 및 책임사항을 규정합니다. 이용자는 서비스를 이용함으로써 본 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the service provider (“the Company”) and users in connection with the use of Expanion (“the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

제1조 (목적 및 정의)Article 1 (Purpose and Definitions)

1. 본 약관은 서비스의 이용조건 및 절차, 회사와 이용자의 권리·의무 및 책임사항 등을 규정함을 목적으로 합니다.
2. “서비스”란 AI 기반 영어 표현·예문 분석(의미·예문·직역 생성), 학습 카드 및 간격 반복 복습(SRS), 발음 쉐도잉·TTS 등 회사가 앱을 통해 제공하는 일체의 기능을 말합니다.
3. “이용자”란 본 약관에 따라 서비스를 이용하는 자를 말하며, 익명 이용자와 계정 연결 이용자를 포함합니다.
4. “유료 서비스(Premium)”란 이용요금을 지급하고 이용하는 구독형 서비스를 말합니다.

1. These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the Service and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
2. “Service” means all features the Company provides through the app, including AI-based analysis of English expressions/examples (meaning, examples, literal translation), learning cards and spaced repetition (SRS), and pronunciation shadowing/TTS.
3. “User” means anyone who uses the Service under these Terms, including anonymous users and account-linked users.
4. “Paid Service (Premium)” means the subscription service used upon payment of fees.

제2조 (약관의 효력 및 변경)Article 2 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

1. 본 약관은 앱 내 또는 본 페이지에 게시함으로써 효력이 발생합니다.
2. 회사는 관련 법령을 위반하지 않는 범위에서 약관을 변경할 수 있으며, 변경 시 시행일과 변경 사유를 명시하여 시행일 이전에 앱 내 공지 또는 본 페이지를 통해 고지합니다.
3. 이용자가 변경된 약관 시행일 이후에도 서비스를 계속 이용하는 경우 변경된 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

1. These Terms take effect when posted within the app or on this page.
2. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. It will announce amendments, stating the effective date and reason, via in-app notice or this page before the effective date.
3. If a user continues to use the Service after the effective date of amended Terms, the user is deemed to have agreed to them.

제3조 (서비스의 내용)Article 3 (Description of the Service)

1. 회사는 이용자가 입력한 영어 표현·예문을 AI로 분석하여 의미·예문·직역 등을 제공하고, 이를 학습 카드로 저장·복습(SM-2 간격 반복)할 수 있는 기능을 제공합니다.
2. 서비스는 무료 이용 범위와 유료 이용 범위로 구분됩니다. 무료 이용자는 하루 검색 횟수 제한(보상형 광고 시청 시 추가 제공), 저장 카드 최대 100개, 아카이브 기능 제한 등의 이용 범위가 적용되며, 광고가 표시됩니다.
3. 회사는 서비스의 품질 향상을 위해 서비스의 내용을 변경하거나 일부를 추가·중단할 수 있습니다.

1. The Company analyzes the English expressions/examples you enter using AI to provide meaning, examples, literal translation, etc., and lets you save and review them as cards (SM-2 spaced repetition).
2. The Service is divided into free and paid scopes. Free users are subject to a daily search limit (additional searches available by watching rewarded ads), a maximum of 100 saved cards, limited archive features, and ads.
3. The Company may change, add, or discontinue parts of the Service to improve its quality.

제4조 (회원 계정)Article 4 (User Accounts)

1. 이용자는 별도 가입 없이 익명 상태로 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.
2. 이용자는 데이터 백업·동기화를 위해 이메일·Apple·Google 계정을 연결할 수 있으며, 연결 시 이메일 주소가 수집됩니다. 개인정보의 처리에 관한 사항은 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
3. 이용자는 계정 정보를 스스로 관리할 책임이 있으며, 계정의 부정 이용을 방지하여야 합니다.

1. Users may use the Service anonymously without signing up.
2. Users may link an email, Apple, or Google account for backup/sync; on linking, the email address is collected. Data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy.
3. Users are responsible for managing their own account information and preventing unauthorized use.

제5조 (유료 구독·무료체험·자동갱신·결제)Article 5 (Paid Subscriptions, Free Trial, Auto-Renewal, Payment)

1. 구독 상품: 월 15,000원 또는 연 129,000원(부가세 포함 여부 및 최종 가격은 스토어 표시 기준). 요금은 회사 정책 및 스토어 정책에 따라 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 시 사전에 고지합니다.
2. 무료체험: 가입 즉시 7일간 프리미엄 전 기능을 무료로 제공하며, 계정당 1회 제공됩니다.
3. 결제: 유료 서비스는 Apple App Store 또는 Google Play의 인앱결제를 통해 이루어집니다. 카드번호 등 결제수단 정보는 회사가 직접 수집하지 않으며, 각 스토어가 처리합니다. 영수증 검증은 회사 서버(Cloud Functions)에서 수행합니다.
4. 자동갱신: 구독은 현재 이용 기간 종료 최소 24시간 전에 해지하지 않으면 자동으로 갱신되며, 갱신 시점에 스토어 계정으로 요금이 청구됩니다. 구독 관리 및 자동갱신 해지는 이용자의 스토어 계정 설정에서 수행할 수 있습니다.

1. Subscription plans: KRW 15,000/month or KRW 129,000/year (tax inclusion and final price per store display). Fees may change per Company and store policy, with prior notice.
2. Free trial: A 7-day full Premium trial is provided immediately upon sign-up, once per account.
3. Payment: Paid services are processed via in-app purchase on the Apple App Store or Google Play. The Company does not collect card numbers or payment credentials; the stores handle them. Receipt verification is performed on the Company’s server (Cloud Functions).
4. Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and fees are charged to your store account at renewal. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your store account settings.

제6조 (청약철회 및 환불)Article 6 (Withdrawal and Refunds)

1. 인앱결제로 이루어진 유료 서비스의 청약철회·환불은 Apple App Store 및 Google Play의 환불 정책에 따르며, 환불 요청은 해당 스토어를 통해 처리됩니다.
2. 회사는 「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」 등 관련 법령이 정한 이용자의 청약철회권을 보장합니다. 다만 이미 제공되어 소비된 콘텐츠 등 관련 법령에서 청약철회가 제한되는 경우에는 그러하지 아니합니다.
3. 환불 관련 문의는 아래 문의처 또는 해당 스토어 고객지원을 통해 접수하실 수 있습니다.

1. Withdrawal and refunds for paid services purchased via in-app purchase follow the refund policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play, and refund requests are handled through the respective store.
2. The Company guarantees the user’s right of withdrawal as provided by applicable law, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. This does not apply where withdrawal is restricted by law, such as content already provided and consumed.
3. Refund inquiries can be submitted via the Contact below or the relevant store’s customer support.

제7조 (이용자의 의무 및 금지행위)Article 7 (User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct)

1. 이용자는 관련 법령, 본 약관, 이용안내를 준수하여야 하며, 다음 행위를 하여서는 안 됩니다.

• 타인의 계정·정보를 도용하거나 부정하게 이용하는 행위
• 서비스의 정상적 운영을 방해하거나, 자동화된 수단으로 비정상적으로 접근·이용하는 행위
• 서비스를 역설계·복제·변조하거나 회사의 지식재산권을 침해하는 행위
• 불법·위법하거나 제3자의 권리를 침해하는 콘텐츠를 입력·게시하는 행위
• 무료 이용 한도나 결제·광고 정책을 우회·조작하는 행위

1. Users must comply with applicable law, these Terms, and usage guidance, and must not do the following:

• Steal or misuse another person’s account or information
• Interfere with normal operation of the Service or access/use it abnormally via automated means
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the Service, or infringe the Company’s intellectual property
• Enter or post content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights
• Circumvent or manipulate free-tier limits or payment/advertising policies

제8조 (지식재산권)Article 8 (Intellectual Property)

1. 서비스 및 서비스에 포함된 소프트웨어·디자인·상표·콘텐츠에 대한 지식재산권은 회사 또는 정당한 권리자에게 귀속됩니다.
2. 이용자가 입력한 학습 콘텐츠에 대한 권리는 이용자에게 있으며, 회사는 서비스 제공 및 개선 목적 범위 내에서만 이를 이용합니다.
3. 이용자는 회사의 사전 동의 없이 서비스를 통해 얻은 정보를 상업적으로 이용하거나 제3자에게 제공할 수 없습니다.

1. Intellectual property in the Service and its software, design, trademarks, and content belongs to the Company or the rightful owner.
2. Rights to the learning content you enter belong to you; the Company uses it only for providing and improving the Service.
3. You may not commercially use or provide to third parties information obtained through the Service without the Company’s prior consent.

제9조 (면책 및 책임의 제한)Article 9 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

1. 서비스에서 제공되는 AI 분석 결과(의미·예문·직역 등)는 학습 보조를 위한 참고 자료이며, 회사는 그 정확성·완전성을 보증하지 않습니다.
2. 회사는 천재지변, 제3자 서비스(OpenAI·Google 등)의 장애, 이용자의 귀책사유 등 회사의 합리적 통제를 벗어난 사유로 발생한 손해에 대해 관련 법령이 허용하는 범위에서 책임을 지지 않습니다.
3. 본 조는 관련 법령이 보장하는 이용자(소비자)의 권리를 부당하게 제한하지 않습니다.

1. AI analysis results (meaning, examples, literal translation, etc.) are reference material to assist learning; the Company does not warrant their accuracy or completeness.
2. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, such as force majeure, outages of third-party services (OpenAI, Google, etc.), or the user’s own fault.
3. This Article does not unfairly limit the rights guaranteed to users (consumers) under applicable law.

제10조 (준거법 및 분쟁해결)Article 10 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)

1. 본 약관 및 서비스 이용과 관련한 분쟁에는 대한민국 법령이 적용됩니다.
2. 회사와 이용자 간 분쟁은 상호 협의를 통해 해결하며, 협의가 이루어지지 않을 경우 관련 법령에 따른 관할 법원에 소를 제기할 수 있습니다.

1. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to these Terms and any dispute related to use of the Service.
2. Disputes between the Company and users are resolved by mutual consultation; if unresolved, a suit may be filed with the competent court under applicable law.
