"KorVoca" refers to the mobile vocabulary learning application and all associated web materials provided by Pracsol Inc. ("Company"). The service includes flashcard creation, AI-powered Korean word lookup, and spaced repetition review functionality.
The Company grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use KorVoca on devices you own or control. This license does not transfer ownership of the app, its content, or its intellectual property.
Users must not: (1) use automated tools or bots to query the AI service; (2) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application; (3) redistribute or commercially exploit AI-generated responses; (4) interfere with the service infrastructure or attempt to bypass usage limits.
AI responses are generated by GPT-4o mini and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or contextually inappropriate suggestions. Responses are provided for learning reference only and should not be relied upon as authoritative language instruction or professional advice.
KorVoca relies on Firebase (Google) for authentication and cloud function hosting, and OpenAI for AI inference. By using KorVoca, you also agree to be bound by Google Firebase Terms (https://firebase.google.com/terms) and OpenAI Usage Policies (https://openai.com/policies/usage-policies).
The KorVoca app code, UI design, brand, and accompanying documentation are the exclusive property of Pracsol Inc. User-generated learning data (flashcards, notes, study progress) belongs to the user and remains stored locally on their device.
The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at its discretion. Material changes affecting service availability will be announced in-app at least 7 days in advance when reasonably possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of learning data, dissatisfaction with study outcomes, or interruption of AI service availability.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
1. Subscription Products and Content. KorVoca offers monthly (KorVoca Pro Monthly) and annual (KorVoca Pro Yearly) auto-renewing subscriptions. Subscribers receive unlimited AI vocabulary analysis, unlimited flashcard storage, ad-free use, full unlock of the TOPIK vocabulary packs, and other Pro-tier benefits as described in these Terms and within the application.
2. Payment and Pricing. Payment will be charged to the User's Apple ID (or Google Play account) upon confirmation of purchase. The exact charge amount is displayed in the user's local currency on the in-app purchase screen immediately before confirmation.
3. Automatic Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration at the same price unless the User cancels auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4. Cancellation. Users may manage their subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time via their Apple ID or Google Play account settings. After cancellation, Pro benefits remain available through the end of the already-paid period, after which the account automatically transitions to the free (Freemium) tier.
5. Free Trials and Promotions. Where a free trial is offered, the regular subscription fee will be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless the User cancels at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
6. Refunds. Refunds are processed in accordance with the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play. The Company defers to refund determinations made by the platform operator (Apple, Google). To request a refund, please use the "Report a Problem" link in your receipt email, https://reportaproblem.apple.com (iOS), or Google Play payment help (Android).
7. Price Changes. The Company reserves the right to change subscription prices. Any price increase will be communicated to existing subscribers at least 30 days before the next renewal, and explicit consent will be obtained. Users who do not accept the new price will have their subscription terminated at the next renewal date.
The Company may revise these Terms from time to time. Material revisions will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and announced in-app at least 7 days before the effective date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
