KorVoca Terms of Service

Article 1 (Definition of Service)

"KorVoca" refers to the mobile vocabulary learning application and all associated web materials provided by Pracsol Inc. ("Company"). The service includes flashcard creation, AI-powered Korean word lookup, and spaced repetition review functionality.

Article 2 (License)

The Company grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use KorVoca on devices you own or control. This license does not transfer ownership of the app, its content, or its intellectual property.

Article 3 (User Obligations)

Users must not: (1) use automated tools or bots to query the AI service; (2) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application; (3) redistribute or commercially exploit AI-generated responses; (4) interfere with the service infrastructure or attempt to bypass usage limits.

Article 4 (AI Output Disclaimer)

AI responses are generated by GPT-4o mini and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or contextually inappropriate suggestions. Responses are provided for learning reference only and should not be relied upon as authoritative language instruction or professional advice.

Article 5 (Third-Party Services)

KorVoca relies on Firebase (Google) for authentication and cloud function hosting, and OpenAI for AI inference. By using KorVoca, you also agree to be bound by Google Firebase Terms (https://firebase.google.com/terms) and OpenAI Usage Policies (https://openai.com/policies/usage-policies).

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

The KorVoca app code, UI design, brand, and accompanying documentation are the exclusive property of Pracsol Inc. User-generated learning data (flashcards, notes, study progress) belongs to the user and remains stored locally on their device.

Article 7 (Modifications)

The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at its discretion. Material changes affecting service availability will be announced in-app at least 7 days in advance when reasonably possible.

Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of learning data, dissatisfaction with study outcomes, or interruption of AI service availability.

Article 9 (Governing Law)

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.

Article 10 (Changes to Terms)

The Company may revise these Terms from time to time. Material revisions will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and announced in-app at least 7 days before the effective date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
